1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WeatherDI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What WeatherDI Is

WeatherDI is a weather decision support tool designed for photographers and event planners in Malaysia. It provides forecast-based recommendations, alerts, and decision guidance based on data from third-party weather providers.

WeatherDI is a decision support tool — not a guarantee. Weather is inherently unpredictable. Our recommendations are based on the best available forecast data but may not accurately reflect actual conditions at any given time or location.

3. No Liability for Weather Outcomes

We are not liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from decisions made based on WeatherDI's recommendations, including but not limited to:

• Event cancellations or postponements
• Vendor penalties or logistics costs
• Equipment damage
• Client disputes or reputational harm
• Any financial loss resulting from weather conditions

4. Accounts and Subscriptions

Free tier: Available to all registered users at no charge, with feature limitations as described on the pricing page.

Pro and Agency tiers: Paid monthly or yearly subscriptions billed via Billplz. Subscription begins immediately upon successful payment.

7-day free trial: New users may access Pro features for 7 days at no charge. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial, access reverts to the Free tier automatically. We will notify you 2 days before your trial ends.

Guest alerts (/try): One free alert per event is available without account registration. This is a one-time feature and does not create an ongoing subscription.

5. Payment and Billing

Payments are processed by Billplz and support FPX (online banking) and credit/debit cards. We do not store your banking or card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your paid tier until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use WeatherDI for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the service to transmit spam or unsolicited messages

8. Third-Party Services

WeatherDI relies on Open-Meteo (weather data), JPS Malaysia (river levels), Telegram (alerts), Supabase (data storage), Billplz (payments), and Vercel (hosting). We are not responsible for outages, inaccuracies, or changes to these services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, WeatherDI's total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of this service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim. In no event shall WeatherDI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

10. Service Availability

WeatherDI is provided "as-is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or timely access to the service. We are not liable for any interruption or unavailability caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including third-party service outages (Vercel, Supabase, Open-Meteo, Telegram, JPS Malaysia) or internet connectivity issues.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on WeatherDI is our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the service without written permission.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
