1. What Data We Collect

When you create an account: email address, name (optional).

When you use the service: locations you search or save (latitude, longitude, place name), events you save (name, date, location, event type), your weather role preference (Photographer or Event Planner), and feedback you submit.

When you connect Telegram: your Telegram chat ID — a numeric identifier assigned by Telegram. This is not your phone number.

When you use /try (no account): event details you enter (name, date, location) and your Telegram chat ID when you message the bot.

Automatically collected: basic usage logs (errors, API calls) for debugging purposes only.

We do not collect payment details — these are handled entirely by Billplz.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide weather decisions and alerts for your saved events
• To send Telegram notifications (rain warnings, morning briefs, forecast alerts)
• To improve the accuracy of our recommendations over time
• To communicate with you about your account or subscription

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase, a cloud database provider. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Telegram

When you connect your Telegram account, we store your Telegram chat ID to deliver alerts. We do not have access to your Telegram messages, contacts, or profile beyond what you explicitly share with the bot.

5. Data Retention

Active account data is retained for as long as your account exists. Guest event data (/try) is retained for 30 days after the event date, then deleted. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent for Telegram alerts at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at weatherdi.support@gmail.com.

7. Cookies

WeatherDI uses session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children

WeatherDI is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We will notify registered users by email of any material changes to this Privacy Policy.
